Yes they will viper, if companies like turtle beach, astro and tritton dont make adaptors then they'll lose a lot of customers

At present, an astro mixamp makes any stereo headset on the market compatible with a 360. I can see Microsoft stopping that straight away.

Not the current gen, Viper. Microsoft will give their proprietary license to 3rd party companies, but will charge them for it. It's their way of making extra money.
