If Sony can deliver a great online service and maintain consistent and credible support for its servers, then Sony has a huge edge. They have better hardware specs, better console prices, and the one thing they need is the online support.

Well you have to think about sustaining success. Sony shot themselves in the foot by having PS3 be $100 more than the Xbox at launch and not having any consistent online play. Developers didn't invest much in the PS3 despite the console having much...

I think what Val said was that they are more worried about losing profit than making something good. I am also pissed off that they dropped always online, it affects <5% of people and the features were awesome.
