Good evening, everyone. As I sit here on a computer, I thought it wise to describe myself to you all. Therefore, I present to you all a short autobiograhpy. I hope you all it enjoy it.
Part 1: Early Life
My life began in the winter of 1998, in Huntsville, Alabama. My father had been a pastor at a local church for some time, and sadly, that was nearing it's end. On Jan. 3, I left the womb. 1 year after my birth, my father was fired from his position at the church. This happens a good deal during my life, so get used to it. Then, we moved to his hometown of Morehead City, NC, where we reside to this day. He then began his position as Music Director at Glad Tidings Baptist Church, and kept it for the next 6 years of my life. During this time, I was homeschooled by my mother, and was disconnect from my father. He was gone before I woke, and returned as I slept. This added up to my extremely strong bond with my mother, and my looser, yet still as healthy, bond with my father. I spent most of my time playing outside with my best friend, who lived directly across the street from my home. For these years, life was good. My father nurtured the worship team under his guidance, and kept the church thriving with many plays that he directed. However, all the while, the senior pastor grew to dislike him. Throughout his entire career in the ministry, his bosses grew to dislike him, and sometimes to despise, even though their churches thrived while he was there, and all loved him. However, in the summer of 2005, it was official: He was fired. He sat me and my sister down and told us, and then began the birth of our church: South Banks Community Church.
Part 2: A Place to Belong
My father and sister decided to go and see the new Boys and Girls Club that had opened in our town. While there, they soon found out that they could rent the entire building on Sundays. This led to much thinking on my fathers part, and many discussions with my mother. Finally, it was decided to begin the founding of our church to this very day: South Banks Community Church. From starting there in that small meeting of 20 people, to having a full fledged lease on and old Anglican church that we refurbished with a sanctuary, cafe, and children's wing, it's been a long journey. However, all of it is worth it for Yahweh, his Son, and his Spirit.
