Exactly Redneck, but if they make the X1 cost a ton of money, casual gamers (the majority of console gamers) won't buy. It doesn't make good sense.

Depends on how much it costs. If it is $400-$500 like I am hoping, then I will get it. If it is over $600, I can wait a while.

No it won't. The PS3 was totally different to the 360, that's why it was so expensive. IMagine 2 upgraded 360s.

I'm just using the price of ps3 at launch and my opinion as well as factual rising prices. It's going to be just as expensive as a new ps3 at launch if not more.
