OBJECTIVE
The objective of this signature shop is to provide a means for me to practice my image editing skills and further hone them. Although I am a beginner and still learning the tricks of the trade, practice makes perfect.
RULES
- All Brigade rules apply
- I reserve the right to turn down any request for any reason
- Requests are restricted to Privates and above
- I will make exceptions for Recruits if you pm me with a good enough reason as to why you deserve it
- Keep in mind that I am still new to this and it may take me longer than others to complete the work
Requests
When making a request for a signature or userbar, be as specific as possible so that I can create something that you and I will both be pleased with. Please fill out the Request Form to the best of your ability.

Can I get a custom Zulu userbar like Affliction? Not the same thing but something similar?
But maybe instead of the Charlie emblem, you could use the Zulu Viper emblem, I don't know if it would look good though. If that isn't possible, can there be a border around the outside so it doesn't look like the Charlie emblem is hanging off the side like on the current one?

Ok, so something a bit unusual, but what the heck. I'd like a userbar for HR.
Theme Anime/VG character. Sabers. All of them.
Style Basic/Regal (whatever you can make work really.)
Color Scheme Warm.
Image And this is where it gets complicated. I'll explain more in the notes.
Text Head of HR.
Font Whatever you used on the patoon userbars.
Notes Okay, so what I'm looking for is a bit complicated. Basically, I want it to be a userbar so I can fit it in with my current sig well. And I want it to showcase all of the forms of Saber (Saber, Lilly, Alter, Zero, Extra, Extra Bride). Its a bit of an odd idea, but I figured a group image might make some small amount of sense for HR. I want each Saber to be easily recognizable, though for the size your will probably be limited to the chest or neck and up. I also like the faces to work somewhat well.
As for the background image. I've got nothing. Sorry about that. For the Sabers, I'll be working on finding a good vector or transparent PNG of each and getting them approved by you. I should have a good choice for most of them, so if one isn't working for how the picture is turning out, I could get another.
The most important thing, and the main reason I couldn't do it myself, is that I don't want it to just look like mash of images thrown on each other.
I'm willing to let you increase the size of the userbar if needed, so push the size as big as you need, but I would really like to keep it as small as possible, so that it still resembles a userbar more than a sig and could be used with my current sig.
I understand if this is more than you want to take on for a single person, but I appreciate any consideration given to this request. If approved, I'll obtain those pictures ASAP.

Loose concept: I'm thinking maybe a badass lookin Halo Jesus with a spartan Lazer as a right arm prosthetic, with or witjout a burning village in the background.
Christ Lazer across the banner. Religions Symbolism mixed with death is the look im going for. In terms of abstract themes, Think Priest with a shotgun, blasting sinners brains out or Something along the lines of the below video - but "cooler"/more professional looking (like a leon the professional/jesus/spartan hybrid)

in terms of colors somethimg dark that will blend well with the grey background of the site. i like the background stylisation you utuilize in your sig so something similar would be fine. in teems of font, either the same font you used or something more gothic like the diablo pc game font or the font germans used in their propoganda posters during ww2

Notes: I was wanting a signature that describes how I play, I would really like a haunted helmet substituted instead of the original helmet, I know it's alot of work but I know you can do it. I would like lightning bolts in the background representing the echo storm. I would like the lightning to be either green or purple. With a distorted black background maybe with the band disturbed evil smile. If you could mix between the two fonts: Electrical and Pulse that would be great.

Shift, I started to work on yours, but I don't think that it will work. I was going to do something similar to what Gladdy did for the Sierra userbar with the Brigade emblem (round blue bird) in it but as I scaled it down, the logo became indistinguishable. I uploaded what I have anyways so that you could see what I'm talking about for yourself.
I also tried to just cut the snake portion out of the logo and use that but it was also hard to tell what it was in the confines of the userbar.
If you would like for me to make something else or if you have any suggestions, let me know.

Its okay Deuce, I found the whole thread that reactive had made anyways, could you take the current one I have and edit the background to make it more like the Zulu one you have in the OP? I don't want it exactly the same but that style would be nice.

Kou, I'll accept your challenge. Providing the images you want would be an excellent help. One of the main points of this, other than getting you guys some graphics that you want, is for me to get better at editing. So, even though your request is daunting, I'll try to see what I can do.

I started work on your userbar. With the height that I used (same as platoon userbars), the different forms weren't really distinguishable. You can tell between Alter, and Extra Bride but none of the others really. Here's a quick image showing what I started.
I'm going to bump up the userbar height and try to fit more of their clothing in if I can so that they are more distinguishable.
Lastly, do you have any preference on a background color? I randomly selected blue for demonstration.

The image that you provided is really low quality and there won't be much I can do to make it look good. I would prefer to put out good looking, high quality signatures. I'll see what I can do, but if I can't make it look good, I won't put it out.

I was thinking maybe a red, dark red, blue, or maybe even some kind of yellow or gold. Red's are really my preference, but I'm thinking that blue or gold might work a lot better with Saber's colors. I'd rather it look good than be in my preferred color.
You're right about the size, and that's what I thought would be the biggest limiting factor. Like I said, feel free to go as big as you need to make it work, but minimizing what you need is preferred.
The other thing I'm concerned about is the text. It may be due to my poor vision, but I'll admit that I first read it as "Hero of HR." I'm hoping the size increase will make it clearer, but otherwise, I might prefer a different font. I'll get to looking for a different, good font in case this one doesn't work out.

All the girls look different, but without seeing the images I provided to Deuce, most people would be unable to tell which are Standard Saber, Zero Saber, and Saber Lily(I can tell by the bow on Lily and the pony tail on Zero, but these are both very subtle). Saber Extra is only distinguishable by the fact that her collar is red, a color no other form has. Chibi Lion can be distinguished quite easily, but you can't tell that she is a lion. Overall, I'm with Deuce on the idea that it really should be made bigger.
And considering I just organize all the people who are actually doing most of the work, I'd say Hero might be an overstatement.

This is about as big as it gets before proportions get out of whack and it no longer looks like a userbar. I changed the font and reversed the colors of the text so that it is clearer. I started over with scaling the renders and got their shoulders/clothes in where I could. This is about as distinguishable as they can get with the userbar size limitations.

Looks great to me. The only complaint I've got (and its an extremely minor one at that) is that the space to the top of left of Extra Bride's head seems quite large and kinda throws the balance. The design makes me feel like the character portion of the bar is supposed to be balanced, but it actually comes off heavier on the right.

That's easy to fix. I can move the render up on Extra Bride and scale it down slightly. I can add some space to the right and move things around. Thanks for the input.

Looks good. Any chance the part of Extra Bride's veil going into Saber's eye could get cropped? It doesn't look very good going into her eye, and since we can't really see what that part is connected to, it shouldn't hurt to get rid of, unless I'm greatly misjudging how much empty space that it covers. Though it seems even that could be fixed by moving the left side in a bit. Unless I am again misjudging space greatly and moving the left side in more to balance it is going to put other parts of the veil over Saber, which would make this current version pretty much the best possible.

Ben - There's not really much I can do with the image you provided for a few reasons: it is a low resolution and near impossible to render correctly, the lighting is difficult to work with, it seems there was some darkness correction in the background that altered the image.
Second, the phrase you want me to put on it is in violation of Brigade rules and therefore in violation of the terms of this sig shop.
If there is something else you would like for me to do, let me know and I'll keep your spot in the queue open.

- When I say "Custom", I don't mean the recreation on the background of your signature. What I mean is that I would like something along the lines of your signature as to a colored background and a render in front of those layers.
- I would also like to add that when you create the background that it can somehow enhance or cooperate with the ODST in a way.

This isn't really what you requested, but I took the concept and worked with it. I wasn't able to swap out the helmets for haunted due to problems with varying lighting so I took a different image of haunted with a sniper and used that.
I know you said you wanted green, but the images I had were not cooperating with hue changes and there isn't an image with green armor and haunted. This is why he is blue. I went with blue shades throughout to work with the spartan and the lightning.
The image I had for the spartan didn't have inclement weather on so I did my best to recreate it. Again, I went with blue lightning to work with the color scheme.
Last but not least, the text you selected looked cool but was too bulky to fit onto the signature. I selected one from the phrases you suggested. Having all of your characteristics on there would clutter things quickly.
Even though it's much different than what you wanted, I hope you like it. If not, I can make you a new one.

I found this cool screenshot of Gungnir with smoke. I tried to colorize the smoke to go with the gold/red theme but it didn't look right so I kept it as the original color scheme.

I didn't add the text you requested because it was too long to fit properly into the signature size, increasing the text size took away from the rest of the sig, and lowering the text size made it impossible to read especially with that font. Since you specifically said that you wanted the text distinguishable, I just left it out since there was no solution to fitting it into the sig.

Sorry it took so long. I originally cut the sketched spartan and started with that but the image wasn't really suited for a signature. It was too zoomed out to fit everything but when it cut in closer, the shape looked weird. Hard to explain it but I wasn't feelin' it.
So I cut out a different spartan and started working with some color. I just kinda went with it and then I realized that I pretty much did several things that you didn't want and some that you did. I did do a darker color scheme and went for the same glow feel as previous work but with the flow of the sig, the spartan looked best centered.
Anyways, I realize that I didn't really do much of anything that you wanted but I wanted to give you a progress update and why it was taking so long. If you would like me to try something with one of the other female spartan images, I can do that no problem at all.

I really like how this is turning out! If it's possible can you push the spartan image and all the textures and cool graphics to the right, then flip the image so the spartan is on the left side looking over her left shoulder. I love the type face chosen for the sig. After flipping the image can you put the text at the top right of the signature. I think this will look good. Can you do this just for to see... Im pretty sure that will do it for me.

- Make it as epic looking as possible! :D But not too messy at the same time.
- Make sure that the background around it is red.
- You can either out all of Slifer's image in the middle and add image 2 somewhere in the middle as well, or you can show just Slifer's face on one side and Image 2 on the other.
- Keep Image 2 in it's original colour and make it blend in with the picture. I.e make it transparent. I don't care what you do really, just make it blend in somehow.
- For the fonts, you need to use one of them for each text. If you have a better font than one of mine, then use it instead.

That image quality is pretty poor. Are there any others available? If not, you can just get a high res image of any spartan you want and I can do the pestilence effect.

If your'e not busy, this is what I wan't:
Theme: Bright colours. Maybe put in a loaf/bread somewhere? And maybe like a spartan(Your'e choice witch spartan) standing alone. Looking out the horison, And it's like many covenants there. And he just thinks like "Oohh.. SHIET!"
Idea: Funny, cool, but at the same time Need to be a bit serious.
Signature: Put in "Loaf" where it fits in ;)
Font: A bit like this.(
