Halo 4 and Halo: CEimage
 343 Industries NewsIt is official! At E3 Microsoft officially released previews of both Halo 4 and Halo Combat Evolved. Let's start with the CE remake. It is the exact same game, only with multiplay, co-op campaign, remastered graphics, and all the other features we've come to love in Halo. Halo: CE Anniversery Edition is coming Novermber 15th, 2011. The footage, along with other goodies can be found below after clicking read more.

And, an exclusive commentary from 343 Industries. A few things are confirmed to be in the new game.
1) The Halo: CE pistol. Three shots to the head, one kill.
2) Terminals are making a turn to do some story-telling.
3) You can go back and forth between the remastered graphics and the old ones in campaign.Confirmed to be usable by the player.
4) Assassinations are staying with the Halo series.
5) A total of 7 maps are confirmed to be shipping on the disk, all classics. Beaver Creek and Damnation are confirmed.
6) This has been years in the making, and is not being rushed at all.
7) The campaign will be co-op over XBL enabled.

343 on the Halo Anniversary Edition

Next up is an image gallery of Halo: CE. Check it out. Returning maps: Damnation and Beaver Creek.

Update on the maps: It turns out the 7 maps that come with the Anniversary Edition will be playable on Halo: Reach. So the multiplayer will not be changing it sounds like, it is only the new (old) campaign. I'm working on finding the interview that confirms this.

Next up is Halo 4. Little is known so far, as all we have is a teaser trailer. It was also confirmed that this was a new trilogy, and would be released in 2012. Here is the teaser trailer.

I believe they said they had nothing planned to show at E3, but they announced two games XD.. although they said something else was planned for Bungie day so maybe more info will come then?

Neither Halo Anniversary or Halo 4 are being made by Bungie, nor did Bungie have any involvement in their production.

I highly doubt Bungie doesn't pop over at 343 and check out whats going on.

I actually doubt that happens Donuts. Bungie is busy like hell working on their new IP, and it really isn't any of their business what 343 does with Halo now. It isn't their game anymore.
