Match Overview
What was originally intended as a clan match with Charlie morphed into a challenge against Alpha Company by the guys at Black Water Ops. The BWO team worked well, they managed to win 3/3 games against our men and gave us a good fight. Needless to say, our team consisting of Eviction, Revelation, Paragon, and CoN Tel Aviv did not back down easy and we allowed both clans to benefit from the experience. As always it was a pleasure going against Black Water Ops and we hope to continue a strong relationship. |
Game #1 -Slayer DMRs on MLG Sanctuary v2.0

Game Summary
BWO's had the first pick, they went with MLG Sanctuary V2.0 and immediately took a 10-2 lead over us in the first minute. Despite our best efforts, the opposing team gained quick control of the sniper rifle and used good teamwork to effectively hunt us down. Top Ring and both ramps where fought over for the majority of the game, and our own sniper use was dampened by theirs. In the end, they took a large marginal lead, yet our spirits where not down yet!. |
Game #2 -Team Oddball on Uncaged

Game Summary
Now it was our turn to choose the map, we went with out old favorite; Oddball on Uncaged hoping to gain back some momentum. Our initial rushed was down-turned by an original commanding lead of 94-28 by the BWO team, Alpha suprised the opposition, with a big comeback, putting the score at 113-108. It was a back-and forth battle to the end until they eventually made it out with the win. Putting the overall score at BWO: 2 Alpha: 0. |
Game #3 - Slayer DMRs on Sword Base
50 - 20
Game Summary
Once again we went with one of our best maps: Sword Base on their chosen gametype. The initial feel was similar to the first game, with the enemy taking a strong 12-4 lead 2 minutes into the game. Much of the fighting was done around green lift but things later moved about the map. Our Alpha team worked well as a group but we still could not hold our own against the forces of Black Water Ops, looks like we will have to wait until we have another opportunity to face against our good friends. |
