| Sergeant Kou is being promoted to First Sergeant. Kou is our most senior NCO and he has done a lot of things that have gone unnoticed during his service to the Brigade. He has been with the Brigade since the first few weeks of its existence and he has been a great friend and leader to you all for quite some time.
Kou is often working in the background and he has made a tremendous impact around here that hasn't really been given credit to him. He helped a lot with Alpha Company last year and he still does to this day. He has gotten pretty much everything asked of him completed and he greatly assisted me back in Alpha Company as well.
He is very selfless and he has put everyone before himself and he truly deserves recognition and appreciation for all he has done for this Brigade. Thank you Sergeant for your selfless and honorable service to this Brigade. We all appreciate you and all you have done. |

| Well done Kou, I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you deserved this. Being a FSG is no easy task, but I know somebody as resilient and determined as you can get things in order and keep not only Alpha company, but this entire brigade in line and on target.
You could say this promotion is koutastic.

| Congrats Kou. I know many times people will say a promotion has been overdue, but I've never seen someone more deserving stuck in one place. There are plenty of times that you've done much of the work in Alpha and no one even looked at it. Beyond that, you've been a great field leader in game and really, I think a lot of that counts. We have to area's of operation, this website, and Halo, and you do a lot in both....

Kou, well done. Although I have had minimal contact with you due to time zone issues, I've spent a lot of 'forum time' with you. You are a great role model in this clan, and I don't think that this is recognised enough. We need more role models around here.
