| Its not everyday that we promote someone to Sergeant. Valorious has worked his butt off the last couple months in our foreign relation interests trying to get us into the GGN. He has been a member here for well over a year and has stuck it out both good times and bad. It just goes to show you that good things happen to those who stick it out and rise above challenges. In Alpha he has been leading practices, coming up with strategies, and overall just helping out where he needs to without being asked. He has earned the personnel's respect which is required for NCO and up and he has shown that he can be relied upon. So I'd like to welcome our newest addition to the NCO core Sergeant Valorious. Keep up the good work Sergeant and give them hell at our clan match tonight. |

Val, you've been here since my enlistment, and have always been there to lend a hand or put in a helpful suggestion. In recent months you've acted respectfully and maturely onto others, regardless of rank or position in the Brigade.
I must say this, even though I'm on the other side of the planet, I can clearly see the impact that you have in this clan. You have risen to the many challenges that lay in your path, and this promotion is a reward for your continuing efforts and contributions to this clan.

| I apologize for the late congratulations.
Valorious, I have known you for a long time here. You have a lot of potential in this Brigade, and these last few months you have really exercised that potential and displayed why you are an appropriate candidate for Sergeant. You've done a terrific job in Alpha Company but this is just the beginning. A lot will change for you now that you are an NCO, but one thing will always remain the same: "Your attitude determines your altitude." You've stuck it out here for a long time, been through the good and the bad, and seen many of your close friends leave the Brigade, but your perseverance and great attitude has really brought out your character. They say that in times of crisis is when the true character of a man comes out, and during the Brigade's rough times you showed that you would stick it out to the end. I applaud your commitment and I wish you good luck in the rest of your service here. |
