Dropshock VS Play On Australia

| 3rd Platoon VS Play On Australia

On Saturday 17th Of July 3rd Platoon went up against Play On Australia another Halo clan. It was 6 V 6 BTB which was a little unusual for us but we still did it either way. It was a 6 game series in NON MLG gametypes. It was close all the we through the skirmish, we ended up winning it 4-1 ( there was 1 draw ). I would like to thank Play On Australia for the skirmish you were worthy opponents. Also to recruit GameJAMIE for stepping in as we had some connection issues and Pvt.xButch was forced out of the games.
The matches went as follows:
Game 1: 1 Flag On Longshore Tie Game 1-1
Teams could not be pulled apart in this game. Really close game.
Game 2: Team Slayer On The Pit Dropshock 100-93
Close game once again. In the end our superior team work pulled us through.
Game 3: Multi Flag On Valhalla Dropshock 2-1
One of the most exciting games of Halo I have ever played. Both teams could not cap in the 1st ten minutes Dropshock capped 1st followed by a counter by POH, no more caps for the last 3 minutes and we grabbed flag with 2 seconds to go and ran it all the way home. I was screaming like a little girl when we capped it to win the game. Well done boys.
Game 4: Territories On Standoff ( 2 rounds ) Dropshock 3-2
I must say our setup for defence on this map really won us the game.
Game 5: Neutral Assault On Rats Nest POH 3-1
At this point we had already won the series. So i applaud POH still coming out to win and not backing down. They really showed us their skills in this particular game.
Game 6: Team Slayer On Construct
Dropshock 100-68
In this match our teamwork and communication really stood out as well as our knowledge of the map. In the end we really had them on the back foot.
Just wanted to say thanks again to POH for the skirmish I really hope there is more to come with you guys we get along really well with you all. Also to 3rd Platoon, I am very proud to be in a platoon with you guys in the last two weeks you have shown what your made of and your dedication. Thats 2-0 for us against two other clans. Everyone performed extremely well in this skirmish we did not know a few of the maps and gametypes very much but you still dug in and did your best.

| Great work troopers, really doing your part to represent our clan to the Halo 3 community. Having a look at their forums before the match they had already heard of our achievements, saying that this wasn't going to be an easy match. I think we've definitely added to that reputation. You've made me proud as a Platoon leader troopers, keep it up.
