Boogy, boogy, boogy , boogy! And it's gonna be a horrible "remake". They did bad jobs trying to remake the Halloween series and the Friday the 13th series, so this is just gonna be wack as the other two.

They're not supposed to be remakes so much as reboots, like Batman Begins was a reboot of the old Batman movie franchise that stopped being good at Batman Forever and was just plain awful by Batman and Robin. The hope is that the new version of the classics will spawn their own franchises which will give filmmakers a fresh chance to do them better.

That being said, I'm giggling like Mark Hamil as the Joker at the sheer awesomeness that comes with Jackie Earl Hadley playing Freddy Kreuger.
