| Pfc. August is being dishonorably discharged from the Brigade. He has made himself unreachable to his platoon CO and failed to maintain minimum activity requirements.
Any future attempts to re-enlist will be automatically denied.

| I would like to dispute this, seeing how this kinda came out of nowhere.
I would like to know how I made myself 'unreachable' by my platoon CO. No attempt has ever been made to contact me, either on the site or on live which I both frequent during the week.
I would like to know how I breached minimum activity requirements. I am frequently on LIVE (at least, during the weekend), and visit the site at least once every three days. I do not frequently post but that is my personal issue with the content and quality of the discussions, and I did not know that posting was a part of the activity requirements.

| No clue on how you made yourself unreachable, so that's up to Cash to explain.
Halo activity is pretty much non-existent, which is probably the big thing here. Your last game played was on April 14, 2012, over a month and a half ago. To quote the field manual:
If you do not post a leave of absence, then you are accountable for your inactivity, and will be demoted once every 14 days of inactivity that pass in your absence. Most enlisted personnel will be simply dishonorably discharged from the Brigade.
So that's about 3 demotions, assuming we didn't jump straight to dishonorable discharge as it states we could. But after one demotion, you have no more ranks to lose making discharge the only real option here.
As well, it is required that you post for you to be considered active on the site. Recruits are regularly denied for not posting in 3 days. The Bravo activity check which occurred about a month ago had two of the five requirements as being related to posting (which, btw, you failed 4 of the 5 checks on). This as a stated rule in the field manual can be a bit hard to find, since the activity rule only mentions site activity without mentioning posting. But the enlistment field manual page, enlistment page, and enlistment welcome posts all talk about this and so this should be something you understand by the time you pass enlistment.
Overall, while I've no clue about the first part, it certainly seems you are failing to meet activity requirements in both a very clear and a somewhat more ambiguous way. Even only the first is more than enough to discharge you.
However, talking to Cashmere about this is the best option for you right now.

| I've been thinking over it, and while I was checking in frequently the reason why I wasn't posting (moronic discussion) is probably a good enough reason not to fight to stay in.
My lack of gameplay just comes from the fact that Reach is a bad game which I would only play on Brigade activities. Since I was not contacted and was not needed for matches I did not play. I frequently saw DSB members online (who were rarely playing Reach).
I've just checked my friends list, and have just realised that my ex-CO Gladdy has de-friended me. I'm not sure if this is within the last few days or since a long time, since I don't go through my friends list too often when I'm online, but this might contribute to 'making myself unreachable'.

I have sent you several friend requests, which get denied very quickly. Plus several messages on Practice Signups and Platoon Updates, all of which appear to be ignored by you, there have been. Since your transfer to Oscar you have only signed up to one of the practice signups, the rest (being 7 of them) have had no statement from you whether or not you can attend them.

You aren't the only one that isn't a massive fan of Reach, some of us do indeed prefer Halo 3 over Reach, but we still play it don't we?

'We play games to have fun. There's this game that we don't find fun. We still play it.'
Sorry to oversimplify, but I really don't subscribe to this method of thinking about it.

Well then I don't know what you are still doing here if no one is up to your standards. Also, you do know that you can create topics to talk about stuff that interests you, right?
My lack of gameplay just comes from the fact that Reach is a bad game which I would only play on Brigade activities. Since I was not contacted and was not needed for matches I did not play. I frequently saw DSB members online (who were rarely playing Reach).
Once again, why be here if you hate the main game? Plus, you don't only have to play Halo with Brigade members, but we want that to be your primary game. I can't disprove your claim, but I doubt it was very many people, if any at all.

He probably deleted you within the past day or so seeing as he knew you were getting discharged. I doubt he would have deleted you weeks ago and then said that you were the one being unreachable.

I have very limited time during the week to browse the internet, yet I still make an effort to check the website and look for stuff to talk about. The onus of interesting topics (I'm aware this is relative to me) should not be on one person. I can't be blamed for not trying to force conversation if I have other things I need to do.

I can be in a Halo themed clan while simultaneously disliking a single Halo game. Tbh, at the moment I am currently waiting to see what Halo 4 is like to see whether or not I'm hooked on constantly playing a Halo game, which is not something I like doing with the current iteration.

The above seems to suggest otherwise. I have not received any friend requests in the last few months from him, and was not even aware he wasn't on my FL until a few minutes ago; I thought we was still on it.

There has been an I Rekhyt I which became DSB August on your FL. When I was discharged I removed most people but kept Callisto, Vibez (or Angelz) and yourself. I received messages from you but never a FR.

Like I said before, if you can't find one interesting thing to talk about in this entire forum, why even try to come back? You said it yourself in an earlier post that I quoted.

You are right, however the game you dislike is our main game. The only one we actively practice on. And I'm pretty sure a couple posts up someone invited you to play Halo 3 with them, a game a lot of personnel do actually play on a regular basis.

I can't find one thing to talk about, so I should be kicked out and denied re-entry?
Many things stop me from posting. Limited time. Lack of relevant discussion. My opinion already posted by someone else in the thread. The thread being old by the time I get to it. Lack of creativity when it comes to finding a topic if nothing is available.

If you are referring to the above then you are reaching a bit. As I explained to Callisto when he was asking me to come back, I would mostly be limited to site work and only play Reach when asked to.
(When I joined a platoon I asked for and received the position of platoon admin and worked on that. (Updating without posting a little <://updated, the easy way to get merit and activity) I lost that position in Sierra platoon's weekly restructurings and was unable to contribute other than as a commenter.)
Since I've been either unable to play Reach or not in a position where my playing is necessary, I have not played it.
