| I am thinking Forerunners. Sure, ONI basically worships them, but they did, bluntly, enslave the humans. I think that the remainder of them, which I know that they still do exist in the Halo universe, wouldn't mind eradicating the Human race.

| Hey Raya, thanks for statement. Was hoping to get more feedback from other brigaders. Cuz the fact is this question is a great topic starter. But in any case for my first thread 1 brigader statement was good enough. later.

| The whole mystery is in how we are some how related to the Forerunners. IF they enslaved us then how come they were so hell bent on saving us? If they thought of us lower than them, (at the time we actually were) then how come the librarian found us so intriguing, and how come she loved us? These are just some questions I have about the forerunners. MC's new enemy will most definitely be of some forerunner nature, since this is a shield world, and there are other unknown species on this planet. I think it'll be the remnants of the Covanant that will want to destroy us more than the forerunners will.
Also, doesn't this belong in the Halo 4 discussion forum?

| I forgot where I heard it, but someone reported that the Forerunners will play a massive role in the story line. There was also a statement to the effect of "I don't think they took kindly to the destruction of a few of their massive artifacts" i.e. The Ark, Alpha Halo, Alpha-B Halo.
Either way, they will probably have some similarities to Halo's original enemies, seeing as now we are facing both the flood and Forerunner, and one of them has to be a replacement to the typical races of the Covenant.
So, I think they will be sort of like a system of machines constituting the Grunt/Jackal roles, maybe some Minor Forerunner soldiers to replace Elites, Brutes, and Hunters, and them some awesome badass Techy Forerunner robots to replace stuff like the Overwatch/Guardian drones from H2.

| I think that the Forerunners will be a very much in the game. I think that they wont be an enemy though. I think they will be Master Chiefs ally.

| In my opinion the forerunners see chief as an opportunity more than a threat. The forerunners are more advanced than then chief and most likely more intellectual. As well, Chief is a Reclaimer isnt he? I dont think the fore runners will be friend or foe. Just a guess though.

| Cortana. She goes rampant. She doesnt get terminated in her suggested lifespan as an AI so she inherits this God Complex since shes stranded in space for so long. she will control all sentials and other AIs. Master Chief will be spending the next 3 campaigns trying to give her a.) the termination required of an AI, or b.) a vaccine of some sort is produced to save AIs from termination and God Complexes. Very difficult to save someone close to you who is uncontrollably trying to kill you. Look it up.

| I don't know Crayola...I'm thinking that if the Forerunners can make an AI that lasted over 100,000 years (Guilty Spark), then why can't they have like a fix for Cortana? All be it, 343GS was most likely dormant for the majority of his time on Installation 04, so that may have effected things.
