| Brigade, today I bring you the first in a series of contests. The goal behind these is to give our less competitive or less skilled members a chance to shine and show what they can contribute to the Brigade. These contests will be based purely upon creativity, and anybody from the rank of Private and up can participate. These contests will be judged by a committee including 1Lt. Deuce and I, the heads of PR. If we ever need another member, it will likely be another Officer or NCO within PR.
Now then, let's discuss the first contest lined up for you guys. You've all seen the stellar practice reports, battle reports, battle highlights, and event threads. Well, I'd like to see how well we can streamline these. What I'd like to see from submissions is a set of report type threads. For examples, you can check out any thread in the Battle Highlights forum from clan matches, or practice reports from within your platoons forums. The winner will be the recipient of 750 merit, with second place receiving 500, third place receiving 250, and all participants will receive 100 merit!
The official rules are as follow:
-Submissions must be made by May 5th
-Submissions must be posted in this thread, completed
-Submissions may contain graphics created by you, or found on other websites such as 343 or B.Net
-Graphics are not required, and instead you may choose to simply use the text options provided by our forum
-Any cheating (using the material of someone else or using previous reports) will result in disqualification from this contest and all those that follow
Submissions will be judged on the following basis:
Creativity
Effort
A full set of reports (Practice Signups, Practice Reports, Event Signups, Battle Highlights, and anything else you think of)
Readability (Don't make your report difficult to read due to colors or small text)
And that's that. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. You may begin submitting below as of right now. Good luck, and let's see what great things you members can do.
Red like roses fills my dreams and brings me to the place you rest
White is cold and always yearning burdened by a royal test
Black the beast descends from shadows
Yellow beauty burns gold |

| When you say posted here, do you mean like essentially do the blank report and leave it here?

| Fill out a report with made up information when it comes to dates and things like that. Pretty much give an example of what your set of reports would look like if put into use.

| | The following report will outline details about the practice that was held on the 18/06/93. This includes attendance, practice objectives and game statistics. All of the information should be detailed and accurate. |
| This practice was to be hosted by LCpl. Gladdy. The objectives were to cover the map Reflection and then have a few games within matchmaking. |
The practice had begun at the scheduled time of 2000 GMT+10. The objectives were to do callouts and an overall review of the social map Reflection. The goal was to get as much input from each member on what they believe is the best strategy for control on the map. All members had given some excellent feedback and I was very impressed with the outcome of the first part of the practice. As soon as the review was over we had head into matchmaking where we would work on the newly developed information.
Game One ; Team Slayer ; Reflection: From the very second we entered the lobby and saw Reflection it was exactly as if we had all read out mind. Almost every member had called out saying "vote for Reflection", we had quickly won the vote, heading into what we believe would be a easy win. The game had began and each member knew their role. Callisto had rushed for sniper and Gonuts ran for rockets, I had decided I would help secure top grabbing shotgun and keeping an eye on 'Shotgun Hall', while Angelz secured 'Water Hall'. The plan was running smoothly, Callisto was doming heads and Gonuts was wrecking havoc with the rockets, however the team was still pressuring the 'Halls'. Before long I had lost control and Angelz was to switch sides and control the 'Shotgun Hall', leaving 'Water Hall' exposed. The very second they discovered that they had rush the hall leaving Callisto to pick them up, but he was soon lost aswell. With the enemy team controlling top it was now 30 - 18. Within the first 3 minutes of them controlling 'S3' they had already increased their score by ten points to our three. This was not looking good, however thanks to some co-operation we had devised a plan and quickly went to it. After some losses and a lot of effort we had secured 'S3' at a score of 45 - 45 and two minutes remaining. For the next two minutes this would prove to be most nerve racking, it had seemed the enemy was hiding and planning to surprise us at any point. So, we had devised a plan keeping all the entrances secured and staying close together. With 30 seconds to go all of the enemy team had come from all of the entrances leaving it was four way 1v1 with each man taking on another. ten seconds left and 7 people had died, leaving behind Gonuts and his cute celebrations. We had won the game 49 - 48
Game Two ; Team Flag ; Sword Base: After winning such a match as the last we knew we could win this one. Heading straight into the map and quickly all scattering in all directions for control of all the power weapons. Gonuts had rushed his handy dandy Needle Rifle and I had rushed for the Grenade Launcher. Me and Gonuts had pressured the enemy at 'Tri Bridge' while Callisto and Angelz had pressured from 'Sword Room'. Unfortunately, after some pressure all of the enemy team had left except for one. We had decided that it would be best to just let him capture all of the points. After all his team had abandoned him, so after some extreme hand signals we had convinced him we were not going to kill and him and instead escort him back and forth to the objective. He had one the game 3 - 1. |
| No need for improvements. But, I must add that I was extremely impressed how this practice ran, all of the members had conducted themselves maturely and responsibly. I am proud to say they are my platoon. |

| Practice Report -- Oscar Platoon
02/05/12 |
Todays Practice was kickstarted with some quick callouts and revision on tactics on Reflection and boneyard, we then proceeded to discuss what certain situations and how to combat these efficiently.
After all was done we made our way on to matchmaking where we absolutely dominated and won every match all going positive.
Everything went fairly well with this practice and I look forward to the next one, no need for improvements. |

| Really wanted to post mine up and was brainstorming whilst in the shower no less; the only thing is I thought of some ideas a little late and forgot to save the game so I could take screenshots. You'll be getting a late submission on Friday after our MLG Practice from me.
