If they do screw it up, Halo is dead... like seriously, if Halo 4 burns out, that's the end of the franchise, it wont even matter how epic halo 5 and 6 are, or if they are even made.
Yea i think 343i knows what they're doing and sees that people are getting bored of the same old cookie cutter CoD ideas. They will make it halo and nothing else... I mean why mess with a good thing!
I still think they should have brought back the 1-50 ranking system from H2 and H3. It tends to seperate the boys from the men, and encourages team work. Not having a classic Team Slayer game type with the goal of reaching that 50 kill limit is quite annoying me right now, not gunna like the changes to the game type that shaped multiplayer in almost every other FPS since HCE.

I completely agree with you here, it seems that everyday I encounter another inheritor who cant even get 2 shots on me in a 1 on 1 DMR battle and has a negative 20k K/D ratio. the old system was much better, also 343i seem to be moving towards the same levelling system as reach from what i've heard which is disappointing.
It's a bit sad that the entire community is so jittery about Halo (because apparently some didnt like Reach [I shall never understand that]) that with a couple of announcements everyone is flipping and they haven't actually SEEN it yet, let alone played it. If people are expecting a Halo 3 2 then they aren't going to get it. As a progressive, i like change and welcome it with open arms, yes this means Reach tactics may not cover everything anymore, but i think this is good for everyone as we can go in and create new and exciting tactics.
WEAPON DROPS: I actually understand this, the main idea is that if all have similar weapons and have to fight for a super weapon, it is the one who is most skilled and quick on their toes who will get the weapon.
Looking forward to this. Gonna buy the Standard Edition. (But don't think I'm going to buy X-tra maps :/)
I hope 343 don't screw this up. But at the same time I think it's cool that Halo 4 And COD Have almost the same release date :3

Other than that, I am not too worried. 343 is basically Bungie that stuck with Microsoft. If they do screw it up, which I hope they do not, then I will still buy em all. I am a dedicated Halo Junkie.
