Briefing:
On Saturday 11th February I decided it would be fun to launch another "Surprise" clan match on 2Lt.Flash and Spc.Vode, This was because of two reasons the first of which was the other clans erratic schedule and the second was because I was bored and looking for something to entertain me.
The match:
After picking up Spc. Requiem along the way we went to meet up with ABD and had to pull out and invite them as they thought clan matches were played with a full lobby on team slayer. After informing them of their mistake they decided to play Invasion on Spire 4V4, Which in itself was a bad idea.
Round one:
But nonetheless we continued on and with constant communication ad suppressive fire from all of dropshock we managed to "Skunk" them by holding the objectives and going long range on top of the rocks.
Round two:
With us on the offensive side we decided to all go to the same side so we can overpower them and then force their spawn on the opposite side. After this things only improved for dropshock and with Vode taking sniper, Flash taking the Rockets and heading for the objectives, Requiem taking the grenade launcher that left me with my obvious choice in weaponry, the shotgun, With that I headed straight for their spawn and waited it out for the banshee while Flash was capturing the objectives and the Core with the help of Requiem Vode picked them of from a distance with his sniper and needle rifle while I took to the skies with the banshee for some good old fashioned spawn killing until flash scored the Core with the help of the rest of the team suppressing the enemies.
Debriefing:
After the first match one of their members rage quit and they obviously forfeit afterwards but not before informing us that Microsoft would be hearing about us being dirty players, cheaters and some other stuff we didn't hear the poor kid raging about as we were too busy trying not to laugh at him. Obviously we won't be matching up against these guys again as
they feel we were a bunch of cheating cowards and couldn't play.
God I love rage Gamers.
