Match 1: MLG CTF on MLG Sanctuary v5

This was our second match against GFL so we had some experience and knew roughly what we were up against, regardless of this we had never encountered GFL Aimfire. Sanctuary was our pick so after around 30 minutes of warming up and discussing tactics we head straight into the match after wishing them good luck.

Our plan was simple, for 2 (Me and Gungrave) to rush for rockets and 1 (Vode) to rush for Sniper. This worked only to limited sucess as there plan was parallel to ours and a few well placed nades on their part left us 2 down and only Vode left alive. They had taken rockets at this point and were getting all set up for power weapon control and a 'ring two' spawn lock.

But we managed to push back with sniper support from Vode I rushed our carbine into ring two and picked up two guys and the rocket launcher. At this point Vode pushed for the flag and with the support of Gungrave at their Sniper and me at their Carbine he managed to run it through shotgun tunnel giving us a 1:0 lead.

They then managed to get hold of our flag after we pushed to far and ignored out objective but in counter Vode grabbed there flag and ran it back whilst Gungrave recovered our flag and I provided support from 'Ring 1'. We managed to resecure our flag giving us a 2:0 lead in under 2 minutes.
At this point they managed to revive their structure and held us back from getting into their half for about a minute, but a strong push from me and Gungrave up their sniper and shotgun tunnel gave Vode the chance to flank and make some solid progress with the flag and eventually take the 3:0 win for that match.

During this match GFL Aimfire's internet failed (as they told me post match) and due to Vode needing to depart regardless, me and Gungrave took them into the second match 2v2 style.

Debriefing and Possible Improvements:
Special thanks to GFL for playing us at such short notice and I hope we can keep a stream of matches running as they are a great group of guys and give exiting matches to boot.
Our communication was on the ball throughout both matches and the main improvement would have been a consistent team size as to make a fairer match due to the fact we went 2v3 on them for about 2 minutes during the first match.
