On October 29, 2011 Alpha Company faced Team S2K in a 4v4 in a all MLG clan match. Match was a loose for Alpha 0-3.
MLG Team Slayer on MLG Sanctuary v5
50- 27
Synopsis:
Despite our best attempts to gain a swift control of the map, Team S2K beat us to the punch. They gained quick control of map, weapons, and spawn. They forced us to our objective and displayed superior teamwork. Numerous times we went against them forcing them back. Towards the end of the match they became reckless and we exploited it racking numerous kills but the damage was already done.
MLG Team Slayer on MLG Countdown v5
50 - 33
Synopsis:
With one of our members having to leave abruptly we had to obtain another member, FSgt. Solace. Solace filled Tank's position on the team. It became difficult to control the top for any extended period of time. We were unable to completely secure a set up or obtain power weapons at their respective spawns.
MLG The Pit v6
50- 35
Synopsis:
We made our final stand yet we weren't working to the fullest of our potential. We held our ground but did not push into the middle to turn the tide. This led to them controlling middle and rockets.
For many of us this was the first clan match of our brigade careers. We played and fought hard.Team S2K out gunned and out played us. I congratulate Team S2K on a great victory, but next time it won't be so easy.

| Honestly, this wasn't even a match. While I appreciate the members who were able to attend and fill in for those members who signed up but who could not attend (practically all of them), this match just should not have happened if we didn't get right members on.

| I agree with Venomous. Maybe declare a rematch of some sort with the correct members. not discrediting the Alpha members that participated, but it sounds like this didnt seem to go exactly as planned...

| There was much confusion for this match. It was said to be at 4 p.m, but some people were confused it was for 8. Nonetheless, it was for 4. being a half hour late, and not having the leaders or hardly any people who signed up present, we managed to gather anybody who was online. With hardly any warming up or practice, we were rushed into the clan match with barely any preperation. As a consalation, I believe we did decent, considering the circumstances. Team S2K is very skilled and have good teamwork. It was a good match, even if the stats prove otherwise.

| I thought it was at 4:00, but I couldn't download the update, so when I finally fixed it, it was 4:01 and nobody was on. So, I got off at about 4:15 to play some hockey.

| Lets learn from our mistakes gentlemen.
1. We play on equal terms not just one team's terms. If they don't want to be flexible and accommodating to us then we don't need to either.
2. We will not be playing this team again as I heard they were pretty rude and childish. If they want to talk trash let them. No need to give into peer pressure.
3. Watch the videos and see what we did right and what we did wrong and learn from it. |

| First off, the number one reason we lost this match is because we had 1 out of the 8 people who signed up actually show up. This is obviously a cause for concern and if you are going to sign up, be there. Simple as that.
It's not as easy as just saying "we don't have people showing up so let's just all forget about it and reschedule." If you don't show up, it counts as a forfeit.
I agree completely that we should not be compromising with teams. We should be selecting whatever gametypes we want to for our picks. Just because they are bad at objective gametypes doesn't mean that we should allow them to force us to play only slayer. It just doesn't make sense.
I told Dragon to check his recent history to see if he still has the videos so that we can review them. We will be able to gain a valuable experience if we can see exactly where everyone went wrong. One thing we cannot fix is the lack of preparation due to people not showing up.
