| Callisto you have a point there with armour lock, jetpack, invisibility, and evade but with sprint I have to disagree on that one. I kinda see what you mean about it making Halo look like cod almost every FPS games have sprint and no one complains that the sprint is turning the game into cod. I also think that sprint kinda speeds up the game because in halo 3 i thought it was always annoying how I tried assassinating someone but we kept going at the same pace and I never got close to him until he took a turn or stopped. I think sprint kinda helps to escape a situation where your about to die or to quickly sneak up on someone to assassinate them. |

| The Armor Abilities didn't make it unfair. They both have advantages and disadvantages like weapons.

| All the abilities have ever done is make the game slow down. Back in Halo 3 you had to have skill to pull off tricks such as assassinating someone who is behind you and doing trick jumps. Now everyone can do those. In Halo 3 you had to be good with a BR to survive now a loser just goes into armor lock to survive. Reach was built for noobs and COD kiddies. The only new idea I like in Reach is the bloom and that is it. |

| no they should keep the armor abilitys, it adds flavour to halo example jumping off the top of the spire in spire with a jetpack into/onto A) an enemy tank B)a pack of enemys C) to jack an aircraft or D) to assassinate some unfortunate nubcake

| I want armor abilities, but only in certain playlists. And I only want them to be support and movement enhancing abilities. |

They created a imbalance from the spawn. At least place them on the map. There is so much less to fight for on the map, which was a classic aspect of Halo from the beginning... (OV, Camo)

Well to be honest, AA made the game more friendly to newcomers because they could jump into the game with a certain ability, and be able to learn the controls from there, unless they used Armour lock. For map based pick-ups, I don't see how they made that much of a difference to game play.

| Id quickly like to take this back to the Oddball scenario and move it to a more common scenario which we see multiple times in game play, 3 times out of 8 in any Slayer Rumble pit game you will come against someone in armor lock, or who drops into armor lock as soon as they are in trouble, yes it doesn't deny a good player of the kill in most situations, but it does slow down game play dramatically.
take this for example
5 DMR shots takes 2.5 seconds to effectively take down an opponent
add about 5 seconds of armor lock, an extra 2 shots to take the opponents shield back to Nil, and another shot to finish him off.
This all together adds an extra 7 seconds to the average kill, this happens 8 - 10 times a match, adding an extra 1 minute and 10 seconds at least to clean up the opposition due to armor lock, but then again the same can be said for sprint, you have an enemy 3 shots down, he steps aside and sprints around a corner, you miss a shot and by the time you catch up to him using your own sprint his shield has recharged and you have another fight on your hands, another 10 seconds added to 1 kill.
of course this isn't how all battles play out, sometimes people are killed whilst waiting for an enemy to exit armor lock, or are emp'd by the the exiting of armor lock and immediately hit by a melee and are killed, these abilities take so much skill out of the game that was originally seen in the days of halo 2 and 3, the game ran faster smoother and was a hell of a lot more fun in those days, hopefully 343i listens to their fan base and fixes old mistakes that were made in the past, Halo can be big again, and it wont be done without drastic changes to why it was great.
just my thought on the predicament faced by 343i and the rest of the halo community.

| I have to say this and it makes total sense... The question shouldn't be get rid of them, but where you should have them present... Campaign/Firefight are more interesting with them as are custom games, but it would be cool if Matchmaking was a bit less centered around them...

| I don't think that 343 will even get on the road of making a mistake of having AA in Halo: 4. Most of the people in the Halo community do not want it, and most likely 343 will not have them in the game.
But if there were to keep some of them in, they will have to make it like the MLG playlist, and have them as power ups, where your team has to get them off of the map, and not have them as a load out.
If there were to keep them in they will gave to get rid of everything, and only keep sprint and evade. Everything else should go. I think this because this way, (most people like sprint) and sprint is sort of fair. Even if someone who is one shot can just run away like a little girl. At least they are not in the air shooting you and spamming grenades on you. It will be more balanced if everyone will have the same thing.

| Yes, Armour Abilities make the game for fun and harder to kill someone in some cases depending on the person and how well they use their armor abilities. I also think they should not have as many abilities just speed, jet-pack, and armor lock.

| Splitting the Halo community once again would be a terrible idea. It has to be all or nothing. I think a great compromise would be to have AA's in Campaign and Firefight and leave them out of Matchmaking. That way those who like them, don't hinder other people's experience and they still get to mess around.

| It would be nice if they added new abilities and got rid of armor lock.
Other wise, the other armor abilities are cool, like jet pack, sprint, and evade.
